Group Farming Corporation India Limited (GFCIL) is established to develop the vast business prospects of Natural Rubber(NR) in India ., At the same time, the production and marketing of NR has become a very lucrative business next to petroleum business and it is a low risk affair. The pricing of NR highly influences the price of Crude Oil in the International Market. Today, as everyone knows, there is no possibility of the price of crude oil to be declining and hence it is observed that the NR price will remain elevating always. Similarly, the total production of NR is found inadequate against the existing demand as well. Surveys report that this demand will not be met in the near future when compared to the less production of NR. In India, only 12 lakhs metric ton rubber is being produced every year which only meets the 40-55% of the total demand in our country. Obviously, the leading players of rubber production are Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Vietnam, but the production in those countries are also not meeting the present requirement globally. As mentioned above, surprisingly, International reports indicate that today’s NR production is not sufficient as far the huge demand is considered. All these factors bring the possibility of the NR business today both in Indian and International markets.
At this setting, Group Farming Corporation India Limited is planning to extend Rubber Plantation throughout India adopting Group farming methodology. The group farming is characterized by jointly using land and agricultural inputs. Group farming might be called as a special kind of cooperative or a collective farming.
The company will plant high yielding Rubber plants using all the modern and scientific methods to ensure high yielding on right time. In order to carry out group farming operations, the Company will offer the land, infrastructure, laboures, equipments and other facilities to it’s investors to facilitate the smooth maneuver of the entire Group farming based on the terms and conditions of the company time to time. We are engaged in Rubber farming operations under the guidance of Rubber Board after conducting different surveys like soil test, climate survey location survey and so on strictly adhered to all the guidelines of Rubber Board.
